A 10-year veteran of the US Naval Special Warfare, SEAL. James’s secondary responsibility over the past 20 years has been in the combat medical field. Other specialties include Breacher/Methods of Entry, Military Free Fall, and Combat
Diving. After separating from the Navy in the fall of 2004, James worked as an independent contractor with the CIA providing security for high-risk mobile operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. After returning CONUS worked as a lead firearms instructor/ medic at (AFETA) Armed Forces Experimental Training Activity Department of Defense. James holds an active Secret security clearance and is an NRA LE Instructor, certified diver, and parachutist.
A United States Marine Corps infantry Sergeant with eight years of active-duty service, Chris’ primary military occupational specialty (MOS) was 0311 Infantry Rifleman. In addition to Chris’ primary MOS, he held several secondary specialties to include 0933 combat marksmanship coach, 0931 combat marksmanship trainer, 8152 security force Marine, 8154 close quarters battle Marine and 0570, foreign forces advisor. Chris spent five years in 1st Battalion, 6th Marines where he deployed numerous times as a team leader and a squad leader in a rifle platoon. He also spent three years in the Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team deploying with three platoons in three different combatant commands as a squad leader and platoon sergeant. Since departing from the military, Chris has become a certified personnel protection specialist providing executive protection to high profile clients.

After separating from the Navy in the fall of 2007 Rick worked as an independent contractor supporting the global war on terror, and instructor/medic at (AFETA) the Armed Forces Experimental Training Activity Department of Defense. NRA LE instructor and one of our lead instructors.
Matt is a native of Virginia Beach, VA. He spent just under 4 years as Naval Officer in Surface Warfare. His primary areas of responsibility were legal and engineering. He was a command subject matter expert in anti-terrorism/force protection. After leaving the Navy, Matt spent a year working in the firearms industry. In late 2019, Matt deployed to Afghanistan for a year as a private military contractor. He resides in Kentucky, where he works in the security field for the federal government. Matt & Jim have been close friends for 20 years. Matt helps at Orcus Group’s citizen courses and also runs marketing, communications, and social media.
